Following the success of last year's "White Lies" collection, House of Harry Halim returns with an even bolder and sharper Spring/Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear Couture line, titled "Redemption." Set in a dimly lit hall with a half-open coffin at the end of the runway, the show immediately pulled the audience into a dark and eerie atmosphere, fitting for the post-Halloween season. Inside the coffin, a woman in a black lace dress lay in repose, adding an element of mystery and transformation to the scene.
With "Redemption" as its theme, Harry Halim explores the idea of rebirth rather than just endings.
Sticking to a stark palette of black and bright red, Harry Halim believes that within darkness lies the potential for change, a path to freedom, and a chance at redemption. The coffin is a powerful symbol, representing not just finality but the possibility of transformation-a passage from darkness to light, from the end to a new beginning.

The collection takes inspiration from a modern-day vampire aesthetic, mixing dark fantasy with contemporary style. Each piece is designed with bold lines and striking silhouettes, blending gothic allure with a fresh edge. There's a sleeveless black corset with jagged, fang-like edges, matched with a floor-length skirt and gloves that radiate an air of mystery. A sculpted blazer with exaggerated shoulders and a deep neckline, lined in red, adds a powerful, seductive touch. Another breathtaking look-a cropped blazer with pointed shoulders and wide-legged pants-has an edgy sophistication that feels both daring and timeless.

Harry Halim's second set of looks brings a darker, intense vibe through bold shapes and rich color contrasts. The first outfit features a sharp black coat with a striking red lining, and red pants that add a strong visual impact. The second model wears a long, open-chested coat with a deep red lapel, giving a powerful and confident look. The third look combines a smooth black coat with red gloves and viscose pants, adding a touch of danger to the clean lines. This collection merges timeless vampire-inspired imagery with avant-garde designs, creating a powerful visual narrative of dark allure.

In the women's collection, these pieces embody a bold fusion of dark, edgy aesthetics with high fashion. A red mini dress with a plunging neckline and sharp shoulders, paired with fringed thigh-high boots, gives off a rebellious edge. Another look features a shiny black halter top and a skirt with heart-shaped sheer panels and spiked details along the hips, adding a gothic vibe that feels powerful and daring.

Many pieces in the women's collection evoke a dark, ethereal elegance with a gothic edge. The designs play with textures and shapes, like a glossy black material that clings to the body with long, dangling strips, creating a dramatic effect. The final look, worn by the woman emerging from the coffin, uses sheer, lace-like fabric in a floor-length design, blending intricate patterns with a mysterious, delicate feel. Together, these pieces bring sensuality and strength, with a haunting beauty that feels both graceful and bold.
