Marc Jacobs Indonesia has just released a fresh delivery of the label's Resort Collection. In its new collection launch, Marc Jacobs Plaza Indonesia held a preview accompanied by afternoon coffee with Arabica and Bakerman.
In a sea of earth-toned and Marc Jacobs outfits, the excitement of the event is also amplified by the music performance by Zara and tarot reading by Silver Moon Reading. The new collection itself highlights the fresh touches on Marc Jacobs' distinctive bags, namely The Tote Bag and The J Marc Collection.
For this season, The J Marc Collection comes in an array of new playful colorways, such as harbor blue, daybreak, wolf grey, lilac, bronze green, and tender yellow. In addition to various sizes, the bags can also be worn in three different ways; as a crossbody bag, with chain, and carried as a clutch.
While The Tote Bag in leather was released some years ago, they received the same treatment this season. Materials for The Tote Bag and The J Marc Collection range from croc-embossed leathers, sequin, rhinestone, diamond pattern, to faux fur. The brand also released a special Lunar New Year item, The Tote Bag in brown fuzzy poly fur—calling to mind the fur of a rabbit.
The clothes for the collection take inspiration from the brand's own runway show. The results are street-ready iterations of the runway pieces, clad in Marc Jacobs monogram. From puffer jackets, all-over printed t-shirts, pants, scarves, to knitted sweaters and vests, the range employs stark and recognizable graphics in a duochromatic colorway.
