Undoubtedly, July felt super festive thanks to several titles of big screen movies or streaming platforms' original series. But the page has turned, it's time to welcome August and all the upcoming releases heading to you this month. See the list down below.

The Moon
Do Kyungsoo, the main singer of K-pop group EXO, will finally make his way again to the big screen. After starring in a legal K-drama Bad Prosecutor, Kyungsoo will be featured in a space survival drama film, The Moon. The Moon follows the story of South Korea's first crewed lunar exploration mission and isolation in space. Sol Kyung-gu (Memoir of a Murderer, The Merciless) and Kim Hee-ae (Queenmaker, The World of the Married) will accompany Kyungsoo in The Moon as another main character. Only Murders in the Building Season 3
The comedy infused whodunnit series Only Murders in the Building will also be back for its newest season, out August 8th. After concluding its second season with charming mysteries, true crime enthusiasts Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) will be accompanied by new faces, none other than Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Tina Fey, Ashley Park, and more. Super can't wait for this one!

One Piece Live-action Season 1
Anime fans, rejoice! The long awaited live action adaptation of the most well-known manga, One Piece, will finally be released at the end of August only on Netflix. Much like the manga and anime, the lie-action One Piece will follow the story of superhuman pirate Luffy and his friends as they sail on an adventurous journey to find the One Piece treasure that would make him King of the Pirates. Question is, will it live up to expectations? Only one way to find out. One Piece will be available to watch starting August 31st.

Meg 2: The Trench
Another shark tale will come to you this month, August 2nd to be exact. Meg 2: The Trench serves as the continuation of Jason Statham's exploration of what lies beneath the deepest depths of the ocean. If you're an adrenaline junkie, be sure not to miss this out because Meg 2: The Trench will bring much more high-stakes battle for survival against the world's merciless predators. (Unless you have thalassophobia, I guess.)

Heartstopper Season 2
One of Netflix's most-anticipated series, Heartstopper is coming back for another season to give you more of its queer teen romance. This feel-good LGBTQ+ series will be available to watch starting on August 3nd. So, don't miss out on Heartstopper's newest season if you want to know what happens next to the three couples and their soaring romance.

Heart of Stone
Starring Gal Gadot, Heart of Stone follows the story of Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative who must embark on a dangerous mission to protect the mysterious MacGuffin who is known as "The Heart." This thrilling spy drama will surely bring out some good old action, especially Jamie Dornan (Belfast, Fifty Shades series), Matthias Schweighofer (Army of Thieves, Oppenheimer) and Alia Bhatt (Ganggubai) will join Gal Gadot for this one. Heart of Stone is slated to release on August 4th.

Behind Your Touch
Calling all K-drama lovers out there—comedy thriller drama Behind Your Touch is ready to be devoured this month. Starring Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-min, the tv series tells the story of a psychometric vet who works together with a good ole' detective to solve a serial murder case that suddenly takes place in a small peaceful village of Mujin. Interesting, right? Behind Your Touch is out on August 12th, so be sure to watch it!
