Constantly stealing the spotlight, Jimin from supergroup BTS has some good news for all the ARMYs out there. After riding high on the collaboration with BIGBANG Taeyang, becoming the newest face of Dior, now Jimin finally has spoken up about having his solo work releasing next month.
The news came straight out of the 27 years old singer from a recent Weverse live, "I think the album I've been working on is going to drop in around March. I'm currently preparing lots of things that I can do together with you guys around that time. I'm planning lots of different kinds of things we can do to have fun together and enjoy ourselves, so I think you can safely look forward to it." he stated.
Previously, Jimin has released three solo tracks that have been incorporated into BTS albums, "Lie" in 2016, "Serendipity" in 2017, and "Filter" in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Aside from Jimin's solo work with BTS, the singer-main dancer has also released his solo songs for free on the band's SoundCloud page such as "Promise" and "Christmas Love", which he wrote and composed. Jimin also appeared on the soundtrack titled "With You" for the 2022 TvN K-drama starring Kim Woobin and Shin Minah "Our Blues", in a duet with Wanna One ex-member, Ha Sung-woon.
Knowing the power of BTS, it's safe to say that some prominent names both within the global music industry or Korean scene will make an appearance in the list of collaborators. Much like Indigo, RM's solo album released December 2022, where notable musicians such as Erykah Badu, Anderson Paak, Colde, and Epik High's Tablo-whose voices have adorn the album-Jimin's solo work is expected to snatch some well known singers to sing in the album.
Are you ready to be charmed with Jimin's sweet and delicate voice?
