Another month has passed, and now we're entering the last month of 2022. While there are a lot of festive and exciting events happening around, we're here to inform you about movies and series that will be coming out this month-in case you need a watchlist that will accompany your holiday just fine. Without further ado, here are some of the titles worth anticipating this month!
Alice in Borderland Season 2
We're finally going to see Arisu back in his deadly adventures after 2 years since the first season had made its way to Netflix. The second season of Alice in Borderland will showcase ten familiar faces from the previous season as well an additional cast of six that will participate in the deadliest game ever. Sit tight, Alice in Borderland season 2 will be released on December 22nd!
Avatar: The Way of Water
It's been more than a decade since the release of the first Avatar in 2009. Now, its sequel is finally getting closer and closer each day! Titled Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel of Avatar will continue to tell Jake Sully's story with his newfound family in Pandora as he makes his way to protect their habitat from humans with bad intentions. Will it be worth the long wait? One way to find out; Avatar 2 will hit the theater on December 14th!
Cek Toko Sebelah 2
Another film that is getting a sequel is an Indonesian drama-comedy, Cek Toko Sebelah! Ernest Prakasa is directing and starring in the film where his character, Erwin, is facing trouble when proposing to Natalie. Another couple from the film, Yohan and Ayu, was urged to have kids. Emily in Paris Season 3
Lily Collins will once again play as Emily Cooper, where she juggles between her love life and work life in the mesmerizing city of love, Paris. More chic fashion outfits, more drama, more hard decisions to make-Emily in Paris season 3 will come to you on December 21st, only on Netflix!
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Detective Benoit Blanc will return to a crime scene, this time in a luxurious resort in Greece! If you enjoyed the first Knives Out movie, you surely can't miss Daniel Craig in action, trying to solve another murder mystery that involves an exciting cast; Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, and Dave Bautista. Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio
After crafting a horror anthology series on Netflix, Guillermo del Toro will showcase his brilliance once more this year through a reboot of Pinocchio. Instead of a live action, the Mexican filmmaker opted instead for a stop-motion adaptation of the classic tale. The Big 4
Timo Tjahjanto, the same director of Headshot and The Night Comes for Us is coming back with another action film; The Big 4. It follows the story of four retired assassins who are tracking down an elusive murderer, starring Abimana Aryasatya, Arie Kriting, Lutesha, Kristo Immanuel, and Putri Marino. The Witcher: Blood Origin
Fans of The Witcher franchise have probably been waiting for this one. A prequel series to one of Netflix's most loved fantasy-action The Witcher is coming to you! The story follows seven outcasts in an Elven world coming together to fight evil forces, more than a thousand years before the events of The Witcher unfolds. The Witcher: Blood Origin is a limited series and it will arrive on Christmas, December 25th on Netflix so don't miss it!
